What does the Annual Fund pay for?
1. MUSE School Operating Costs
- Tuition alone does not cover the full operating costs of MUSE. The Annual Fund helps fill the that gap. Operating Costs of MUSE School ensure we maintain our two green, eco-friendly campuses, and are fully stocked with classroom furniture and supplies.
2. Professional Development & Competitive Salaries
- Faculty and Staff professional development helps keep current in the education industry while bringing new and innovative practices to the classroom. We offer our faculty competitive salaries compared to private schools in the Los Angeles area.
3. Specialty Programs
- Outdoor Education
- Performing Arts
- Visual Arts
- World Languages
- Makers Space
Why are we asking you to participate?
Year after year, we’ve increased our family participation. In the 2016-2017 Academic Year, family participation was at 88%. While an impressive growth, our Annual Fund participation goal - like all private, independent, nonprofit schools - is 100% participation from MUSE families. 100% participation unlocks grants, corporate sponsorships and donor matching opportunities. Last year, 95% of our faculty and staff also gave to the Annual Fund. Will you please help MUSE get to 100% participation?
