ECC Teacher Erin has been in the Education field for 7 years.She taught Pre K primarily, but has experience in Pre K through 12th grade.She is proud to hold a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education.
Grace Plascencia joined the MUSE family in 2016. As the eldest of four, Grace exhibits the utmost motherly, caring, and nurturing instinct towards children.
Ashley Garretson has been working and volunteering for over 10 years in Early Education. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Studies at California State University, Channel Islands.
Stephanie is going on her third year at MUSE as an EK teacher! She has been teaching in Early Childhood Education for the past 8 years. She received an Associates Degree in General Sociology from Pierce College and studied Early Childhood Education through UCLA Extension.
Jenny is a California native and first began working with children in 2006. With a background in Psychology and a love for helping children flourish, she began providing in home respite and behavior therapy for children on the autism spectrum.
1st Grade Teacher Originally from New York, Denise received her degree in Psychology and Special Education at Marist College in 2008. Upon graduation she discovered that NYC Public Schools were in the midst of a hiring freeze and relocated across a country and an ocean to teach in the Hawaii Public School System.
Katelyn Patterson was drawn to working with children and the arts at a very young age. Katelyn pursued degrees in Elementary Education, Counseling and Psychology from the University of Alabama.
Yvette was born and raised in Southern California. She has spent the last ten years working with children in many capacities, including tutor, mentor, behavioral therapist, and teacher.
Karen's motto is "Life's a Journey." Her journey has taken her to live in ten states and the country of Japan. Karen most recently came from Honolulu, Hawaii where she taught at Punahou School on the island of Oahu.
A dedicated middle school teacher since 2007, Tressa joined the MUSE community in the summer of 2015. She obtained her K-8 teaching license, as well as her BA in psychology, from Hamline University in Minnesota.
Originally from north east, Edra is familiar with the Los Angeles area, having come often to visit family while growing up. She has lived a nomadic life staying in places such as New York, Turkey, Miami, and now L.A.
9th Grade Advisor, High School Math & Science Teacher Caitlin graduated from Boston University with a double bachelor’s degree (BA in History and BS in Film/Television). She has tutored privately throughout Los Angeles for over three years, starting in ACT/SAT prep and branching out into anything from tutoring young children to read to assisting high school seniors with calculus.
This is Haven’s first year as MUSE’s dedicated Math Specialist. Haven graduated from Yale College with a B.A. in Economics and a special concentration in Medieval History.
Ocean / Maker Coordinator Prior to joining the MUSE family, Kim was an education specialist at a farm, teaching classes about gardening and sustainable living. Kim received her degree in Biology from CSU Channel Islands, and found her passion for ocean conservation through her coursework.

After graduating from California State University, Northridge in 2006, Rick traveled to New Zealand to work on organic farms where he discovered his passion for growing food using methods that give back to the Earth.
Garden Educator Alexys has a background in Agriculture Education. She began her gardening journey while working in Southeast Asia, and decided to dive deep when returning to the states. She is passionate about urban farming, permaculture, and fighting against food injustice.
Eve was born and raised in San Francisco, where she graduated from the prestigious San Francisco School of the Arts with a concentration in Music. Eve moved to LA in 2006 to attend UCLA, where she majored in Flute Performance and minored in Music History.
Leidy was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, where she graduated from the prestigious Havana University with a bachelor’s degree in Law. Leidy lived in Beijing, China between 2005-2009, where she studied Chinese language in Beijing Language and Culture University.
French Teacher Born and raised in Paris, France, Severine has been the French Teacher at MUSE since 2018. She has a master's degree in marketing that she earned at the Université Paris Dauphine, France. After working a few years in marketing in the food industry in France, she moved to Los Angeles with her French husband and fell in love with California.

Receptionist Analisa was born and raised right here in Los Angeles. She graduated from NYU with a B.A. in Unlearning and is dedicated to challenging preconceived notions and outdated systems.
Kitchen Staff What up, it's the kitchens golden boy Hilton here. I've been in the culinary game since senior year of high-school and have worked/ been to school learning different styles of cooking & baking.
Robin has been cooking plant based food for over 30 years.In 1995, she and her husband bought Manna Restaurant, one of Europes oldest vegetarian and now vegan restaurant.
Charles has an AA in Fashion Textile from CSUN and he worked for a Knitting & Yarn Company as a sample maker and knitwear designer before coming to MUSE.
Jimmy manages the MUSE Facilities Team and is our School Bus Driver. He is a California Certified School Bus Instructor. In all, Jimmy has over 15 years of transportation experience. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys spending time with family and friends.
